the funeral of our values?
something is happening and that is not good. through slow poisoning, with or without intent, our values will be killed.
the Bomb blast in swat on the day of the by elections is how they are being killed. the bomber asked people to come to his car, supposedly broken down, for a push start. as people gathered around to push it, he blew it up.
so now no one will even help someone whose car REALLY has broken down. thus the death of one good value i.e. of helping someone in the hour of need.
what is happening will surely turn us into barbarians.

Our society had started deteriorating since Afghan-Soviet war once innocent minds were brainwashed with radical islam. Pashtuns on Afghanistan side has been going through it for past thirty years and pashtuns on this side are the latest victims. Hundreds of schools have been destroyed, education of girls banned from Jan 15th (2009), thousands of children deprived of education for year now, villages destroyed, poor people killed, hundreds of thousands people displaced to other parts of Pakistan or Afghanistan and has no nope of returning anytime soon for their villages exist no more, leaders/elders targeted who could have at at least put youngsters on somewhat progressive path, Economy shattered. Every family, specially in Swat and FATA, has someone in their family or a family friend who has been brutally killed. Every direction you look to, a war seems imminent. May be the wait is for Obama to take office. The future seems very bleak if we dont start using our brain and become active to bring awareness regarding all forces that have made our region a playground. Even then you hope people will understand.
I hope I am wrong about the future.
